Ideas for Culture Club
l will be resuming an after school club in my middle school that focuses on
the culture of one country each week. We meet for 2 hours and we have
access to the home ec. room so cooking can be a possibility. l am looking
for specific project ideas (based on a certain country) that we could do.
l like to do projects as well as cook occassionally (so l do not just
wanna cook every week). Does anyone have an idea of a good,
country-specific craft we can do? Some we have tried include: Jamaican bracelets Spanish reverse glass painting learning about native australian animals French mardi gras projects l am not opposed to revisiting these topics (l will have some new students) but l would need to do a more involved project (last year we only met for 1 hour). thank you for any suggestions! *** l did other countries but l am not listing every project we did- we did do a Chinese project for the Chinese new Year
