It is about this girl(i think she was japanese or chinese) who finds out Hops she is sick with leukemia and she heard that if she makes 2000(or 20000) Registered User paper cranes she will get a wish(or somthing like that) and she dies in Joined: Wednesday, 9th of June 2010, 01:18:39 the end but l think it was based on a true story.

old, she got dizzy & fell down while playing, I think. She was diagnosed
with leukemia, which was a direct result of exposure to radiation. A
friend told her that there is a Japanese legend that anyone who is able to
make 1000 origami cranes is granted a wish. She folded more than 1000
cranes, but she died about a year after her diagnosis.
Her story has become famous all over the world, & people send paper cranes
to her memorial in Japan, which is a monument to world peace.
